With 36 of 37 precincts reporting, Vincent Morales holds his lead with 53 percent of the vote, 27,940 votes, while incumbent Richard Morrison has 47 percent of the vote with 24,816 votes. All results are unofficial until canvassed.

Morales takes early lead in Precinct 1 commissioner race

Just over 44,800 voters cast early ballots in the Fort Bend County Commissioner Precinct 1 race. Incumbent Democrat Richard Morrison received 21,096, or 47 percent, of the early vote. Republican candidate Vincent Morales received 23,705, or almost 53 percent of the early vote.
