Houston Airport Systems said there was damage and significant water to HAS facilities or EcoPark, but check if you plan to use other satellite parking lots. Also, plan your route to the airport before you leave to make sure it is safe to drive. Both of Houston's airports have been closed due to weather conditions and flooding since Sunday. Hobby Airport until further notice. No reopening timeline was provided. Additionally, the Houston Airport System website provided the following traffic status near the airports: IAH: All lanes of JFK are open; Will Clayton Pkwy all lanes open up to McKay; HPD on scene blocking the road to prevent continued passage on Will Clayton at McKay but allowing passage on to US 59 southbound. HOU: Monroe from Springtime Ln to BW-8 remains flooded; Blackhawk Blvd at BW-8 remains flooded; Telephone Road from Almeda Genoa to BW-8 is still flooded. All other roads are passable.
