Feb. 17: A Night of Celebration
The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual celebratory event to recognize local businesses and chamber members for their achievements in 2016. The event includes music, drinks and casino games. Winners are announced for small, medium, large and nonprofit business of the year as well as Ambassador of the Year and the Chairman’s Award. 6:30-10 p.m. $75 (general admission). Feb. 18: Superintendent’s Fun Run
Cy-Fair ISD hosts its annual fundraiser featuring a 5K, live music and other family-friendly activities. Superheroes make appearances at the event throughout the morning. The 2016 event raised $52,000 for the Cy-Fair Education Foundation. 8 a.m.-noon. $15 (1-mile for adults), $25 (5K for adults), discounts are available for students. Feb. 18-19: Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show
More than 20 design and renovation experts are on hand to provide home improvement guidance at the 10th annual event. Homeowners have an opportunity to learn from experts who specialize in both interior and exterior projects ranging from new kitchens and baths to outdoor living and green spaces.
