1. Cypress North Houston Road extension

A collaboration between Harris County, Caldwell Companies and Taylor Morrison has resulted in the extension of Cypress North Houston Road between Barker Cypress and Fry roads in Cypress. The road was completed as a two-lane, concrete half-boulevard and is now open to drivers. Caldwell, the developer behind Towne Lake, funded construction from Fry Road to a Harris County Flood Control District channel. Harris County funded the bridge over the channel. Taylor Morrison, the developer behind Alder Trails, funded the final leg of the project to Barker Cypress Road.
