Harris County Precinct 4 plans to begin construction in 2018 on a second Burroughs Park access road.

Tomball-area residents can expect easier entry to Burroughs Park once Harris County Precinct 4 begins work on a second access road in 2018.

According to Precinct 4, an access road will be added to Burroughs Park on Hufsmith Road between the park and Saddlecliff Trail in Tomball. Intersection improvements and traffic signal modifications may also be made.

Pamela Rocchi, director of the Precinct 4 capital improvement projects division, said the project is in the study phase.

"Our goal is to advertise the project for construction purposes in 2018," she said.

Harris County Precinct 4 will fund the estimated $4 million project.
