Mike Ogorchock opened Montgomery Summit Business Park, a 96-acre mixed-use park, in Montgomery last summer. The slump in oil prices has not stopped a handful of companies from moving in, Ogorchock said.

Its first section is 18 acres, and construction should begin by the end of January on another office warehouse, he said, adding that the park has seen success because of its ideal location and space.

“It’s the quality of life in Montgomery; there is no traffic congestion, and the school district is great,” he said. “It’s a great place for people to move out of the gridlock.”

Once complete the park will feature over 1 million square feet of retail, office and warehouse space.
