There are a number of summer camp options in Cy-Fair and the Greater Houston Area for children and young adults of all ages. Options include overnight camps, academic camps, sports camps and general camps.

Academic DISCOVERY COLLEGE

Arts & performance ARTISAN SCHOOL OF DANCE

HINTZE DANCE CENTER

The summer dance session runs for six weeks for students in preschool through pre-professional levels and the ballet intensive camp is for intermediate to advanced levels. A drill team boot camp is available as well. Registration begins April 1 for all three summer programs.

CYPRESS CREEK FACE

The one-week dance camp allows children to learn about six styles of dance: ballet, jazz, hip-hop, Chinese, creative movement, and musical theater. Campers make a daily craft, participate in a performance and take an optional field trip on Friday. The weeklong strings camp is for violin, viola, cello and bass-playing students at Klein ISD. The program includes sectionals, technique classes and orchestra rehearsals. The camp culminates with a student performance Friday at The Centrum.

HOUSTON FAMILY ARTS CENTER

SIX STRINGS MUSIC ACADEMY

Students are taught vocals, guitar, drums, bass, piano and violin during the band camps and have the opportunity to participate in an end-of-summer performance. Six Strings also offers a strings camp that includes lessons on the violin, viola, cello and upright bass.

Camp Olympia
