Since opening its doors in October, Kirk Oncken, owner of Son-of-a-Brisket Bar-B-Que in Tomball, has seen a steady flow of customers.

"Business is going real well," Oncken said. "It's been real steady. We have even got three 5-star ratings on Yelp. That can't be anything but good."

The restaurant is still new and in the growing phase. Oncken said he is still trying to increase its visibility throughout the community and getting people through the door. He said he is looking at adding a catering service to the business, as well as thinking about bottling its homemade barbecue sauces and selling them in store.
