Magnolia's Country Air is one of six area businesses that has received a business of the year award from Lone Star College System Small Business Development Center.

Country Air, an air conditioning and heating business in Magnolia for 35 years, is owned by David and Alice Arevalo.

"When starting Country Air we looked to the Small Business Development Center for guidance, and now 35 years later here we are receiving this prestigious award," David said. "Receiving this award is a testament to hard work, perseverance and the hand of God. It is our hope that we make our community a better place not only by providing a service, but by being involved in our area. We will continue to provide our services, strive to make our company better, and look forward to the future."
