Two areas of Hwy. 290 will be closed overnight the weekend of Nov. 1–3 as construction crews continue work on the Hwy. 290 expansion project.
Hwy. 290 eastbound from W. Little York to Fairbanks N. Houston will be closed overnight Nov. 1 from 9 p.m.–9 a.m. Drivers will be required to exit the freeway at W. Little York.
Hwy. 290 eastbound from Fairbanks N. Houston to 43rd Street will also be closed overnight Nov. 2 from 9 p.m.–9 a.m. Drivers will need to exit the freeway at Fairbanks N. Houston.
Additionally, one inside lane on the westbound frontage road from Fairfield Place to Bauer will be closed daily from 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. through Nov. 12, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. One U-turn lane on the westbound frontage road at Beltway 8 will be closed continuously until 3:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Drivers can detour to the next intersection and make a left turn.
