Lone Star College–Tomball's Performing Arts Center is hosting "A Night on Broadway" on Nov. 2.

The performance, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will include songs from George and Ira Gershwin's "My One and Only," Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma," Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun," Larson's "Rent," Sondheim's "Into The Woods," Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate," Weill's "One Touch of Venus" and Willson's "The Music Man."

"We wanted to create an event that would encourage Lone Star College-Tomball students to explore their gifts and talents as well as celebrate the musical theater stage," said Lisa Morales, LSC-Tomball interim music program coordinator.

Eric C. Skiles, professor of theatre/humanities and artistic director of theatre at LSC-Kingwood, will be the featured guest artist at the performance. Skiles has worked in educational, community and professional theatre for 37 years.

"It's an absolute delight to welcome artists from the larger Houston area to the LSC-Tomball stage," Morales said. "Eric Skiles is known for his exceptional ability to bring theater to life as an actor, director and singer."

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for students and children under the age of 10. For more information, contact the box office at 281-401-1889, Gary Cooper at 281-401-1890 or [email protected] or the website at LoneStar.edu/tomball-pac.
