In the last few months, I have canvassed the Sugar Land and Missouri City communities, speaking with dozens of business owners and taxpayers about the local issues affecting them daily. For every question I posted about the state of future road expansions or how growth was changing the community, I received differing answers, each with a new source but equal uncertainty. These conversations have only emphasized the need for a hyper-local publication like Community Impact Newspaper that disseminates information in a clear, concise manner.

With Community Impact Newspaper, every local resident and business owner in Sugar Land and Missouri City is reached. Delivering a free publication through the mail ensures that "everyone gets it." Our mission is to build communities of informed citizens and thriving businesses through the collaboration of a passionate team.

Some of the features we are looking forward to presenting each month include stories on small businesses, community leaders, restaurants, residential and real estate data, and news and notes from around the area. Our emphasis is, and will be, local. Our reporters and staff attend city council, county commissioners, school board and chamber meetings on your behalf—but most importantly they listen to you, our readers and the business community, to report about issues that affect you.
