Since opening in October of last year, PlayNation has expanded from selling preconfigured and customizable play systems, accessories and bouncers to offer on-site birthday parties and trampolines.

Owned by husband and wife Richard and Gina Taeuber, the business's party facilities feature a huge outdoor play area, two bouncers, a party room, a full kitchen and free Wi-Fi.

Birthday packages include personalized invitations, a piata and goodie bags. Face painting and balloon art are also available.

"We wanted to offer a unique party experience for kids because there were no places offering that on this side of town," Gina Taeuber said.

PlayNation is also branching out into education. Through a partnership with Lango West Houston, PlayNation has been hosting free demo classes in Spanish or French for young children.

The business's main focus is still the customizable play systems, which are installed and designed to hold up in the Texas heat.
