BMC Nutrition, a supplement and vitamin store, has had steady clientele since opening in January 2011.

Owner Mark Benitez started BMC Nutrition as an online shop in 2010 and opened the retail store to provide additional access to his products, such as Nutrex, MuscleTech and MET-Rx.

He said his store is unique because the aisles are organized by vendors and due to the fact that he sells supplements from new and little-known companies.

Located near Planet Fitness and Fitness 19, the store's proximity has paid off.

"It is a great location to start off with and there is nothing like us on this side of town," Benitez said. "I kind of knew that we would be pretty popular."
