Taco Throwdown

Texas Beer Experience and DECA Beer Company are hosting the first Taco Throwdown, during which teams will compete to make the best taco. Attendees can enjoy unlimited tacos and cast their vote for the “people’s choice” winner. Voting ends at 2:30 p.m., and winners will be announced at 3 p.m.

Party in the Cove

The Highlands will host a grand opening celebration for Discovery Cove, during which the first phase of the community's amenity complex—a water park—will be open to the public. The event will also include model home tours, live music, food trucks, family activities, giveaways and prizes.
