Several businesses have announced they will open new locations in the New Caney and Porter area, and recent openings include a Nepali and soul food fusion cuisine restaurant.

The storage facility has fully enclosed storage units of varying sizes that can fit RVs, boats or can be used for commercial use.

The Nepali and Soul Food fusion cuisine restaurant will serve items such as chicken, veggie, lamb and fish masalas; oxtail over fries; shrimp pakora bites and mango lassi, as well as Halal-certified food and vegetarian and vegan options.

With two other locations in Humble and Houston, the clinic offers a variety of medical services for children, including sports physicals; vision and hearing screenings; urinalysis; immunizations; and sterile ear piercings.


GCP Paper USA Inc.

According to previous reporting, the roughly 566,000-square-foot, $38.3 million facility will house the production and distribution of the company’s toilet paper, napkins, kitchen towels, facial napkins and special papers.

McCoy’s Building Supply

McCoy’s Building Supply sells building materials for residential and agricultural projects; tractor, trailer and auto supplies; farm, ranch and animal supplies; and work wear and safety gear, according to the company’s website. The company has 85 stores across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Lenny’s Grill and Subs

Lenny’s Grill and Subs will offer a variety of handcrafted sandwiches, wraps, soups, cheesesteaks and salads. While an opening date was not included on the company’s website, officials said to check the business’ Facebook page for updates.
