A new Fuel Maxx gas station will be opening in Porter, according to two Jan. 9 filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The project will include a 9,248-square-foot space for a convenience store and washeteria, as well as a 9,900-square-foot retail building with three interior spaces that will be leased out.

Construction on the new Fuel Maxx location is slated to begin on or after June 1 and be completed by June 2026, according to the filings.

Fuel Maxx partners with Checkers, Taco Corner and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to offer dining options to customers alongside the snacks and beverages available for purchase in the convenience store, according to the company’s website.
