The Charleston Tea Room and Cafe at 154 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, reopened April 12.

Patty Rodriguez is the new owner of the business. The original owner, Carolyn Zimmer, retired in late 2020.

The restaurant was renovated as well. The menu has stayed the same, except Rodriguez has added a BLT sandwich and a fiesta salad to the menu.
