Work continues on a project to widen FM 1960 from four to six lanes between Twigsworth Lane and the San Jacinto River bridge. The project will include the construction of an overpass at the intersection of FM 1960 and West Lake Houston Parkway. According to Danny Perez, public information officer for the Texas Department of Transportation, commuters can expect a major change in the traffic pattern between Town Center and Rogers Gully in the near future.
