Construction is underway on a project to widen FM 1960 from four to six lanes between Business FM 1960 and Twigsworth Lane. According to Danny Perez, public information officer for the Texas Department of Transportation, right of way acquisition has been completed, while utility adjustments continue. Storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water line improvements are ongoing, and the first concrete placement is nearing.
