TxDOT's Loop 494 expansion pushes forward in March

The Texas Department of Transportation continues its project to expand Loop 494 from two to four lanes between Sorters McClellan Road and Northpark Plaza Drive. In March, contractors will continue working on underground sewer and shift traffic to allow for a temporary widening between Crescent Springs and Royal Crossing drives.

Timeline: July 8-second quarter 2021

Cost: $14.3 million
