The city of Humble and real estate company Jackson-Shaw partnered to fund a project to expand Rankin Road between Hwy. 59 and the Union Pacific railroad tracks in Humble. The project expands a portion of Rankin from a two- to a four-lane road and adds a raised median. Contractors began moving utilities Nov. 4.
