1. Lockwood Road expansion A joint project between Harris County and McCord Development to expand Lockwood Road will go out to bid in August. The project includes expanding Lockwood Road between Beltway 8 and the Union Pacific Corp. railroad from a two- to four-lane road and improving drainage and railroad crossings. A timeline for the project will be determined once a bid is awarded. Timeline: TBD Cost: $1.8 million Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4, McCord Development 2. Woodland Hills Drive overlay improvement The city of Houston began a project in early June to resurface the asphalt street at the intersection of Woodland Hills and Northpark drives. The project was scheduled to be completed by the end of June. This project was not completed by press time. Timeline: June 3-end of June Cost: $134,415 Funding source: city of Houston 3. Timber Forest Drive expansion In November, Harris County Precinct 2 began widening Timber Forest Drive from a two- to four-lane road between Eagle Springs and Madera Run parkways. Construction on the project, which also included adding sidewalks, is scheduled to conclude by late June-early July. This project was not completed by press time. Timeline: November 2018-late June or early July Cost: $3 million Funding source: Harris County Precinct 2 4. Woodland Hills Drive intersection improvements Harris County Precinct 4 began installing a traffic signal and pedestrian ramp accommodations at the intersection of Woodland Hills Drive and Liles Lane in late April. Due to inclement weather, the project’s completion date was delayed until June 24, after press time. Timeline: April 29-June 24 Cost: $217,330 Funding source: Harris County Precinct 4

5. Wilson Road expansion A Harris County Precinct 4 project to expand Wilson Road from a two- to four-lane road between just north of Beltway 8 and Atascocita Road was completed in early June. The road was reopened for traffic April 1, but the traffic signal installation at the Wilson Road and Greens Road intersection became operational June 20. Timeline: November 2018-June 20 Cost: $2.7 million Funding source: Harris County Precinct 2 6. Hamblen Road repair On May 15, the city of Houston began repairing a portion of Hamblen Roadbetween Redbud Lane and Bonnie Glen Lane, which collapsed May 7 due to heavy rainfall. A July completion date was originally set for the project, which included repairing a water and sewer line, but Houston Public Works completed repairs ahead of schedule on June 14.
