A grand opening service for Parkwood Baptist Church was held July 9. Located at 1842 Northpark Drive, Kingwood, the traditional Baptist church hosts Sunday worship services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. along with Sunday school at 10 a.m. Construction on the project began in late May, and the church was previously located on Aldine Bender Road. 281-442-5359, 281-442-5359. www.parkwoodbaptist.org
