1. Lockwood Drive expansion
McCord Development is designing the expansion of Lockwood Drive between Union Pacific Railroad and Beltway 8. The joint project between McCord Development and Harris County will expand the road from a two-lane asphalt section to a four-lane concrete roadway.

Texas Department of Transportation has completed the resurfacing of FM 1960 Business west of Hwy. 59. Construction of medians and sidewalks continues from Lee to Old Humble Roads in Humble. The 8.2-mile stretch of improvements also includes drainage and intersection upgrades.

3. Townsen Boulevard expansion
The city of Humble plans to wrap up the design of the expansion of the Townsen Boulevard during the first quarter of 2017. Townsen Boulevard will be expanded to four lanes between the northern entrance of the Wal-Mart Supercenter and the point where the road bends west toward Hwy. 59

4. Hamblen Road expansion
Harris County and the city of Houston are studying the feasibility of expanding Hamblen Road to four lanes between Loop 494 and Trail Tree Lane. The project will enter the study phase when the Houston City Council and Harris County Commissioners Court approve an agreement outlining each entity’s responsibilities.
