HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood will celebrate its 30-year anniversary May 5. Located at 22999 Hwy. 59 N., Kingwood, the hospital has undergone name changes, an acquisition and expansions since it opened as a 149-bed hospital in 1991.

Most recently, HCA Houston Healthcare—which acquired the facility in 1995—rebranded the hospital from Kingwood Medical Center to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, according to a letter from John Corbeil, CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.

The full-service hospital offers various medical services, including a Women's Center, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, medical residency programs and a trauma intensive care unit.
