National drugstore chain CVS Pharmacy will open a new store May 9 at 4420 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood. The stand-alone location will replace the adjacent store at 4520 Kingwood Drive, said Matt Blanchette, manager of retail communications at CVS Pharmacy. Now located on the Kingwood Town Center corner, the retail store will sell medical items, groceries, and beauty and wellness products. It will also feature a drive-thru window, free pharmacy delivery and a MinuteClinic, which can provide vaccinations and diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries and skin conditions. 281-360-4800. www.cvs.com
