Jan. 28: Remember the Holocaust

In honor of Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week, Opera Leggera will present a special performance of “Janusz and Stefa,” a musical drama that recounts the true story of Dr. Janusz Korczak and Stefa Wilcynska and their efforts to care for Jewish orphans in the Warsaw ghetto. 7 p.m. $20-$25. Feb. 4: Visit an artisan market

Feb. 4: Play Mario Kart

Feb. 11: Reenact the American Revolution


Step back in time at this reenactment of the American Revolution hosted by nonprofit Revolutionary Education. Feb. 11: Attend a Hollywood glam ball

The Kingwood Women's Club hosts its second annual Krewe de Bon Femme Mardi Gras Ball, the proceeds from which will benefit local charities. The event will feature a "Hollywood Glam" theme and include, dinner, dancing, a cash bar, live auction and hors d'oeuvres. 6 p.m. $100-$150 (per person). Feb. 17: Play casino games
