Updated at noon The City of Humble announced it is closing the Humble Civic Center as a temporary shelter and moving its inhabitants to different shelters. "No more donations are necessary at the Civic Center at this time and volunteers wishing to contribute their time and efforts are asked to please seek other shelters to provide assistance,"according to a statement from the city. "The City of Humble is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from our CERT Team, volunteers and the countless donations of clothes, food, beds and other items from individuals, churches and businesses throughout the community."
