Located in Room 168 of LSC-Kingwood's Student Conference Center, the Coyote Care Center offers food, clothing, personal care items and technology to ensure students have the tools and support necessary to succeed, according to a Jan. 30 news release.
Additionally, the center provides counseling services to support students' emotional and mental well-being, as well as community resource referrals to connect students with external support.

“The Coyote Care Center at Lone Star College-Kingwood is a safe space where campus constituents can seek assistance without the stigma of shame or fear,” Sherry Wells, LSC-Kingwood vice president of student success, said in a statement. “Visitors to the center can shop for meal prep food or quick grab-and-go items to address food insecurity. Personal care items such as diapers, wipes, or hygiene products are available for those in need. Casual clothing, including socks, underwear, and jackets, are available.”
