Humble ISD officials celebrated the opening of a new playground at North Bend Elementary on April 3. Officials noted the new playground is coming as part of the district's $775 million bond approved by voters in 2022. The ski lodge- and winter sports-themed playground features an 18-foot slide, a double zip line mimicking a ski lift, and a Zamboni play structure. District officials said the playground is open to the public when school is not in session.
