Master-planned community Generation Park's branch of San Jacinto College will soon be home to the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training’s biotech training programs, officials announced in a Dec. 13 news release. Located at 13455 Lockwood Road, Houston, the San Jacinto Biotechnology Center will offer students hands-on experience in a pilot-scale bioprocessing center that includes upstream, downstream and fill-finish facilities as well as specific curriculum in cell and gene therapy and other developing industry sectors.
