New Caney ISD schools saw improvement on all State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness scores for reading and math in the 2021-22 school year compared to the 2020-21 school year.
Students earned the largest score increases in reading scores for fourth and seventh grades, which jumped 20% and 18% year over year, respectively. See year-over-year districtwide comparisons here.
