iSchool High-Atascocita, a tuition-free public charter school, opened a new campus on Aug. 23 at Lone Star College-Atascocita Center, 15903 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Houston. The school, which is available to ninth- and 10th-grade students this year, offers dual-credit courses, allowing students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree upon graduation. Officials noted iSchool High-Atascocita will expand by one grade level each year until it is available to all high school grade levels by 2023.
