Humble ISD aims to fill nearly 160 open positions at its middle and high school campuses during June job fairs June 15 and 22. The district will host the fairs at the Humble Civic Center at 18233 Will Clayton Parkway from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. on both days.

The fair is open to all qualified candidates who are encouraged to bring a resume, and registration is not required. All positions, such as teachers, teacher's aides and office personnel are available for the 2021-22 academic school year. Teachers' beginning pay starts at $56,000.

"We seek applicants with solid credentials who are in good standing and have strong references from their current or previous supervisors," HISD's Chief Communications Officer Jamie Mount said.

HISD will also host an hourly employee job fair June 29 by invitation only for custodial, transportation, general maintenance, police and child nutrition positions. Applicants must register online at www.humbleisd.net up until the event begins.

Bus drivers and attendants can also come to the Humble ISD Transportation Service Center, 1703 Wilson Road, Humble, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday in June to apply for those positions. Starting pay for drivers is $16 per hour, and paid training is provided.
