AutoZone officials project January construction start for new Kingwood location

Officials with auto parts retailer AutoZone are aiming to begin construction on a new location in Kingwood in January, according to a July 31 TDLR filing.

The details

Construction will consist of the buildout of a roughly 25,500-square-foot facility, per the filing. AutoZone offers a variety of automotive parts and services such as batteries, oil and diagnostics, according to the company's website.

While an estimated opening date was not included in the filing, construction on the project is expected to wrap up in August 2027.
