- Facilities construction
Funds from the 2015 bond contributed to the design, construction or renovation of two elementary schools, a district aquatic center and renovations at three other schools.

NCISD is the fourth fastest growing school district in Texas since 2011.
- High quality staffing
NCISD raised starting teacher pay to $53,100, keeping it in the top quartile of local districts.

- Student learning
The district will emphasize college and career readiness and opportunities for college credit.
- Facilities management
Elementary School No. 10 and the district’s aquatic center are projected for 2017, and construction of Elementary School No. 11 begins.

NCISD has grown nearly 37 percent in the past five years and will grow by about 6 percent annually for the next 10 years.
