The Annie Cafe & Bar is now open inside George Bush Intercontinental Airport's new Terminal D-West Pier, officials announced via a Nov. 21 news release.

On the menu

According to the release, the all-day, full-service dining option offers signature menu items such as crab tostadas, steak salad and The Cafe Burger, as well as new creations including Cochinita Pibil-Style chicken wings and Texas redfish. Breakfast offerings range from huevos rancheros to brioche French toast, while lunch items range from a cobb salad to a fried chicken sandwich.

Quote of note

"It looks, feels and tastes like The Annie," Chef and Partner Robert Del Grande said in a statement. "From the beginning I didn't want to just stick my name on something. I wanted it to feel authentic and familiar. This is a legit Cafe Annie dining experience done with intention."
