In September, Chez nous—a French fine dining restaurant in Humble—marked the 40th anniversary since the restaurant was opened in 1984 by the Brach family, according to a Sept. 3 news release. Per the release, the restaurant’s three private dining rooms were recently refurbished and new local art recently debuted in the building’s art displays.

Seared Atlantic salmon, grilled Muscovy duckling breast and filet mignon are featured on the restaurant’s menu alongside other entrees, salads, desserts and wines.

Chef Stacy Simonson co-owns Chez nous with her husband, Scott Simonson, after the couple purchased the restaurant from the Brach family in 2006, as previously reported by Community Impact.

"We are incredibly grateful for the support of our guests over the decades," Stacey Simonson said in a statement. "This anniversary is as much a celebration of them as it is of our journey."
