Krab Kingz Seafood will open at 9526 N. Sam Houston Parkway E., Ste. 3113, Humble, on March 17, according to co-owner Sam Wright.

Wright said the Cajun seafood franchise is special for its commitment to fresh food. The eatery's menu features various seafood platters that can include snow crab, lobster tail, fried fish and fried and grilled shrimp.

“It’s all about the quality of the food,” Wright said. “We care about the food; I think that’s our best quality.”

Wright said there will be TV giveaways during the grand opening, which begins at 11:30 a.m. He said the restaurant may hold a soft opening the weekend prior to the grand opening as well. Wright said he operates two other Krab Kingz locations in Spring and Huntsville, but he will run the Humble location with the help of co-owners Michael Pritchett and Yanwulu Sarwon. 346-342-1986. www.facebook.com/krabkingzseafoodhumble
