Grind Break Cafe announced June 9 via a Facebook post that the business has permanently closed. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to Grind Break Cafe to confirm the closure.

"It has been a pleasure to serve you, but it's time to say good bye! It was an exciting journey from running tournaments to drinking lots of coffee," the post read. "We will miss chatting with all of you! Stay safe and help your local coffee shops."

In an April 20 Facebook post, officials stated the business was closing temporarily due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Located at 114 First St. W., Humble, the cafe opened in December 2016, offering video games in a coffee shop atmosphere. www.facebook.com/grindbreak
