Two Grand Texas attractions slated to open in spring 2019

The East Montgomery County Improvement District offered guests a preview of Gator Bayou Adventure Park, one of the attractions at Grand Texas—a 632-acre entertainment venue located at the intersection of Hwy. 242 and Hwy. 59 in New Caney­—on Nov. 3. The park remained open on the weekends throughout December, but closed afterward and is set to reopen in spring 2019.

The latest
In addition to Gator Bayou Adventure Park, a second Grand Texas attraction, Big Rivers Waterpark, is set to open in 2019, according to Grand Texas officials. The water park is located next to Gator Bayou Adventure Park and will feature water slides, a lazy river and a wave pool.
