The latest
After months of the city working on the strategic plan, a draft of the document was presented to Humble City Council at its Dec. 13 meeting. The draft document outlines areas the city will potentially focus on, such as economic development, along with actions the city will take to work toward its goals, such as creating codes to spur redevelopment in older neighborhoods. City Council is scheduled to vote on adopting the plan in January, after which the city can begin implementing steps outlined in the plan.
