Officials with The PickleBall Zone celebrated the opening of their new location in Porter in early December.

According to the company's website, the indoor-only pickleball sports complex features 10 courts and offers both private and group lessons in addition to hosting tournaments. The venue also features a sports bar with craft beer, cocktails, big-screen TVs and a variety of yard games.

The facility was first announced in December 2023 and was originally anticipated to open in summer 2024.
