Dick's Sporting Goods officials will celebrate the grand opening of their new store in Atascocita Commons in early November. The sporting goods store will offer apparel, cleats, sports gear and other athletic equipment and accessories.

The grand opening celebration, which will take place Nov. 1-3, will include prizes, giveaways, exclusive offers and special appearances. According to the company's website, former Houston Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon will be onsite Nov. 1 from 6-7:30 p.m., and former Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens will be onsite Nov. 2 from noon-1:30 p.m.
