McCord Development, the owner of master-planned community Generation Park in the Lake Houston area, announced that Unify Energy Solutions is set to open a 39,930-square-foot facility in Generation Park’s Lockwood Business Park in March, officials said in a Nov. 17 news release.
Officials said the addition of Unify Energy Solutions, which provides management and automation solutions for commercial energy consumption, will bring more than 100 employees to the master-planned community.
Unify Energy Solutions CEO Todd Searcy said the company is making the move to account for continued growth.
“Since opening in 2013 we have grown exponentially, and it was time to relocate our headquarters to a place that better represents our brand for both internal and external stakeholders and sets us up for continued growth for years to come,” Searcy said in a news release. “Generation Park checked all of the boxes.”
According to McCord Development officials, Lockwood Business Park's location—13221 Lockwood Road, Houston—enables quick access to all of Houston’s major highway systems, IAH Airport, the Port of Houston and downtown. Additionally, Generation Park is home to Lone Star College and San Jacinto College campuses.
Officials said a third flex office and lab building totaling approximately 66,000 square feet is planned to open in Lockwood Business Park in 2022 and is available for prelease. For leasing information, contact John Flournoy at 713-860-3100 or [email protected].
