The Cove on Hamblen, a craft beer and wine bar, opened Oct. 11 at 1101 Hamblen Road, Kingwood. The lounge offers 31 taps featuring 30 craft brews and one root beer, various wines, and 32- and 64-ounce growlers to go. Co-owner Shawn Geiser said he and co-owner Jeff Rielag hope to bring food trucks on-site during the weekends and special events. 832-777-0264. www.thecovecraftbeerandwine.com
