Why is the Shell Houston Open a prominent PGA tour event? 


The 72-hole tournament is the last Professional Golfers' Association event before the first Major Championship, which refers to the four most prestigious annual PGA golf tournaments, the Masters Tournament. It historically attracts prominent players seeking a final tuneup before the Masters, which will be held a week after the Shell Houston Open.

When and where will it be held?


The Shell Houston Open will take place March 30-April 2 at the Golf Club of Houston Tournament Course, located in Fall Creek near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Hwy. 59.

Who will participate?


Top golfer Phil Mickelson will be joined by major tournament winners Adam Scott, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington and Angel Cabrera. Attendees also include Jimmy Walker, Keegan Bradley, Stewart Cink and Lucas Glover.

How much are tickets?


Good-any-day grounds tickets cost $45.

Where can I park?


On-site parking is available in a lot adjacent to the park, which is accessible from Wilson Road. Advanced purchase daily parking passes can be bought for $35. From March 27-29, on-site parking is free of charge. From March 30-April 2, shuttle service will also be available from the Bush Intercontinental Parking lot for $5 per person.
