Bidding for Lockwood Road expansion project began in early November

A joint project between Harris County and McCord Development to expand Lockwood Road between Beltway 8 and the Union Pacific Corp. railroad from a two- to four-lane road went out to bid Nov. 1. The bidding process will take 90-120 days, and construction will take roughly six months.

Timeline: first quarter 2020-late 2020


Cost: $2.6 million

Funding sources: Harris County Precinct 4, McCord Development
