The Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority completed a restriping project at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and FM 1093 over the June 5-6 weekend, said Mike Stone of Mike Stone Associates Inc., which is associated with the project.

The project involved adding an additional optional right-turn lane from southbound Grand Parkway to westbound FM 1093.

Before the project was completed, the intersection had one dedicated right-turn lane and two straight lanes. Now, there is one dedicated lane for a right turn, one lane for traffic to turn right or go straight and a lane for straight traffic only.
